Agreed 100%. I am appalled by the trend of parents foisting responsibility for the safety of their children onto third parties. I suspect this goes along with our hyper-litigious society. As a counter-example, I have a friend who takes his teens rock-climbing. He has thoroughly explained the situation: "If you let go of this, you will die." And so they learn, and go on to have a wonderful time in a variety of outdoor adventures. Brilliant. Agreed 100%.
